Connect the dots... As Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited Silicon Valley on 23 June 2010, it's noted that he has been saying much about BP, as well as about that company's ability and performance. At this same time, as of Wednesday 23 June, Robert Dudley took charge of BP's spill response for CEO Tony Hayward. Oddly, Dudley was former head of BP's joint venture in Russia, TNK-BP, and was expelled from that country in 2008 after a nasty feud with the authorities and BP's business partners. Dudley actually started work with BP in 1999, when the company bought out Amoco (his former employer); as well as when Yeltsin left power in Russia and then entered Putin. Now, here's Medvedev, Dudley and BP... the 2010 disaster!
